Environmental Policy
Charlotte and Veronica Pundsack of Blakeney Guesthouse recognise their responsibility that their activities, products and services have on the environment. Listed below are the ways we reduce the impact on the environment.
We use low energy and low wattage light bulbs and we make sure that lights are switched off when not in use as this saves our electricity consumption.
PLEASE SWITCH OFF LIGHT WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR ROOM.
We recycle paper, glass, aluminium and cardboard by using the local council weekly collection service.
All Cleaning chemicals are chlorine free, we also use tumble drier balls so we do not need to use softener.
Where possible we ensure that suppliers understand our environmental policy, and encourage them to develop responsible behaviour with regard to the environment.
We regularly assess processes and achievement in environmental practices.
Towel policy; if you require your towels to be changed please leave them on the floor. Any towels left on the rail will not be changed.
Please use public transport as much as possible during your stay. Bus and train timetables are available on request.
